ASC Works Inc. (a 501(c)(3) non-profit Corporation headquartered in Ohio) wants to spread a simple message of self-worth, hope and compassion for seniors over 60. As one of our primary goals ,we believe that the single action of a Salon Haircut from a Professional Stylist can make all the difference in the day to day life of a Senior. Another Service ASC Works Inc provides Senior Care Companions who are missioned to do exactly what their title suggests, i.e. being a companion to brighten a day for Seniors in their home setting.
Give Mom a Haircut is primarily associated with our Seniors in Assisted Living and Nursing homes for whom having the simple act of getting a haircut done is in many cases out of their limited monthly budget of less than two dollars a day for "personal funds". This is where we come in! For a simple $25 donation we can fund a haircut for one of these Seniors.
Because of the Pandemic we were all shown just how powerful a simple action that we all take for granted can dramatically change a seniors view of themselves, effect their own mental health, and even how others in their community view them.

Donate a Haircut to a Deserving Senior
Here at ASC Works Inc, we are missioned to do our part in making the world a better place for all Seniors, of all races. While our slogan is Give Mom A Haircut our mission from the start is to give all Seniors 60+ of any race, color, creed, or gender access to our services.

The Initials in our name ASC stand for our belief that ALL SENIORS COUNT
Seniors are our: Mothers and Fathers, Aunts and Uncles, Grandmothers and Grandfathers, Great Grandmothers and Great Grandfathers, Great-Great Grandmothers and Great-Great Grandfathers, all of whom have given service to their country and community one way or another and now we can give back to them.

Our Seniors helped raise us, nurtured us, tended to our bruises both real and imagined, physical and spiritual, fought for us, sometimes locally and sometimes in wars far from home and gave everything of themselves that they could to us unselfishly. Thru circumstances typically beyond anyone's control many Seniors now need us to help them, and now it is our time to give them back a little something to let them know how much we appreciated them being there when we needed them!
One of the things we are initially doing while rolling out our program is partnering with a well established Salon Management Company that has been managing salons in Assisted Living and Nursing homes for over 20 years in order to actively promote to Seniors in their communities who normally would not or could not afford a simple haircut the ability to get one. We encourage and welcome other Salons, Salon Management Companies, Activity Directors, end Retirement Communities to contact us so we move forward with funding deserving Senior Haircuts.
